Police officers from the 3rd Precinct in Yonkers were flagged by a local resident on Thursday afternoon, when an iguana was spotted and was on the loose in the area.

The officers were able to corral the “not-so-little” reptile, and snapped some photos. The iguana was unharmed during the rescue mission, and was ultimately taken in by the Good Samaritan who alerted police to the stray animal.
